Ema + Eliza: David Peck CrOp Perfection

 One of my absolute favorite ensembles from the FW '12 David Peck CrOp Collection is the gorgeous Ema Top paired with the exquisite Eliza Skirt which I absolutely adore! The colors are vibrant and the print is STUNNING. 

Operation: Friendship for Newtown

Like many of you I have spent the past 4 days feeling completely hopeless and saddened by Friday's senseless acts.

Lynzy over at Sparkling Footsteps created a beautiful project called Operation: Friendship for Newtown that she shared in a post today. 

I wanted to share Lynzy's post with all of you in hopes that we can all share some hope, joy and love with the children in Newtown, CT. 

Everyone has been asking "What can we do?" and "How can we help?"

I have been asking myself the same questions and came up with Operation: Friendship for Newtown

I don't know about you, but when I was little I loved making these friendship bracelets. Let this be a way to show these children that we are all thinking of them and that we are all friends. 
We are going to stick with green and white for colors. These are the colors that represent Sandy Hook....

After you create the bracelet, write a little letter stating where you are from and your favorite part about living where you live. You can also include a quote from Dr. Suess if you wish :)

I would love to get as many of these from around the country (& world) as we can. These little ones will be so excited to receive something all the way from California or Colorado or Florida!

StyleWise Loves CrOp by David Peck

 I was introduced to Houston based fashion designer David Peck and his CrOp collection back in 2010. I was completely blown away by the unique, vibrant prints in his first collection and have watched line evolve over the last 2 years. 

My friend Anina over at David Peck Collection recently invited me to come check out their beautiful, chic showroom and newest collection.

I was once again in total awe of the gorgeous prints and silhouettes of the FW 2012 collection. 

I fell in love with the sophisticated yet edgy navy and grey woven shorts suit made up of the Lavina Jacket + Davis Top + Schooley Shorts!

I was super excited to find out that CrOp is doing a 12 Days of Christmas promotion leading up to Christmas Day and today is the 4th day of CrOp Christmas.

Dorothy Perkins Pop Up Sale

I have been dying to place an order from Dorothy Perkins and when I learned of the 30% off everything sale I was super excited to get my shop on. I don't know if y'all have heard of Charlie Todd or not but he is someone you should know. I had the opportunity to hear him speak last month and he is legit. 

He started Improv Everywhere which creates pranks and causes scenes in large crowds that bring joy and laughter. I have watched nearly all of his YouTube videos and I have laughed until I cried at many of them.
