Y'all know there is little I love more than finding a good deal and local hidden treasures. When I came across French Cuff Boutique it was like snowcone Friday in elementary school. And what's better? It is the located .5 miles from my humble abode.

I was invited to shop around and found myself lost among many familiar labels and some that I now consider long lost friends. Is is not every gal's dream to spend hours in a beautiful, girly boutique playing dress-up??

Fragments NYC

This past summer I recall walking around Soho, NYC and strolling by a beautiful store called Fragments and being lured in by a stunning and unique window display.

I was blown away by the varied selection of fine, edgy, classic and fashion jewelry.
The designers are from all over the world and the quality is exquisite.
I love finding out about new designers that are just emerging and Fragments has such an eye for finding that kind of talent.

Fragments recently gifted me with a stunning pair of earrings by Suzanna Dai, whom you know I adore from my Designer Crush feature. 

Not only are they gorgeous but they have a really rad name,  "Cheyenne Shoulder Dusters" 
and they dust my shoulders just so!
 

  Fragments recently relaunched their beautiful, new website and upon my first visit I quickly found myself consumed by the gorgeous images.

As much as I love living in Houston, it is not always seasonably agreeable with my fashion choices. As beautiful fall 2012 has dropped it's multi-colored leaves upon the grounds of much of the US, Houston remains in the last weeks of summer weather. 

We had one cool front that was such a tease. So, as I wait oh so impatiently I have figured out a couple of ways to incorporate the trench and faux fur into my wardrobe.

 

I was on the hunt for a sleeveless trench for months when I happened upon the UK website   Pure Collection. I have a wishlist from this site that is growing daily. 

I used to be a little weary of ordering from overseas but since ordering from Topshop and ASOS all my fears were put to rest.

My next international ordering quest is going to be from Dorothy Perkins.
