Recently, I have had some inquiries about my hair routine and the products I use.
Sooo...I wanted to share how I tame my dry, curly-ish long weave.
First of all I arrived in this world with a very curly, thick head of hair.
I know many of you will say "you're so lucky" but as you know the grass is always greener.
Growing up with curly locks all I ever wanted was straight hair.
People always ask "how can you blow dry your hair so well by yourself?"
The truth is by the time I was 6 I was a pro with a round brush and blowdryer.
And here are a few reasons why I quickly learned the ways of the blowdryer...yes, the below images are of me and I am a girl contrary to how it may appear...

So, with years of practice and the creation of really great products/hair tools it has become easier and easier over time.
These are the products I swear by and would absolutely recommend to anyone with curly, thick dry and color-treated locks like mine.

About a year ago I
took my Hot Tools curling iron and disassembled it after I figured out
the "wrap the hair around the barrel" technique. I removed the clamp and
simply wrapped sections of my hair around the barrel, held it for a few
seconds then let go.
The problem was I burned my arms and fingers time after time.
I was now on the hunt for a clipless curling iron that was less likely to send me to the local 24 emergency care center.
